OUR VOLUNTEERS.

ALL OF OUR STAFF ARE VOLUNTEERS, THEY DONATE THEIR OWN TIME TO OUR PROJECTS, MOST ARE REGULAR PLAYERS IN OUR BINGO SESSIONS ON MONDAY EVENINGS AT THE GATE HOTEL, AND THE MONTHLY SESSIONS WE OPERATE AT WHALEY COMMON, ALL ARE RESIDENTS OF LANGWITH, AND ALL CARE ABOUT THE VILLAGE AND ITS PEOPLE. PLEASE GIVE THEM YOUR SUPPORT. MORE VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED, ASK AT RECEPTION.

Our team of volunteer staff are listed below;

Kath Sharpe. Company Secretary of Langwith Society handles the admin etc;

Pam Dudney. Treasurer of the Langwith Society looks after all of our finances.

Trina Wellor.  Minutes taker for the Society and hard working volunteer.

Sylvia Carrington. Lives on Dale Close, long time resident, hard worker.

Norma Sweeney.  Our shop Manageress, works very hard. Regular Bingo nut.

Cassie Smith.     A popular volunteer, and very hard working.

Elaine Ray.  Portland Road, Bingo nut and nice lady to boot.

Joanne Knight.  From Nether Langwith a nice lady featured on the staff picture.

Carol Marsh.  From Nether Langwith, good volunteer.

Sharon Benson.  Sharon comes from Shirebrook but enjoys her work.

Kym and Rachael complete our fantastic volunteers.

 

We are proud of all of our staff, they make the whole thing work, are happy to give their own time to our own village, the atmosphere in the shop and café is a credit to all of them. If anyone out there would like to come and join them for a few hours each week you will not be disappointed, call in and ask at the reception desk.
